A mature face with a child-like behaviour for a 22 years old Sunshine

my comp is down...so can't post up my australia photos and blog an entry anytime soon....in the meantime....i shall blog abt other stuff...

this entry describes me...at 22 years old, i still feel that i'm child-like...NOTE: its child-like and not childlish...haha...Laney said there's a difference between these 2 terms...and i agree with her that child-like is a more positive term...

yeah....dun be surprised to read any of the following...
i pout when i'm unhappy or when things aren't going right for me...its a habit since young....
i 撒娇 when i want to get smth that i desire...unless u're a close friend/family, u wouldn't get a chance to see that...haha
i whined when i'm sick....

i dunno how many of you are acting the same way as i do...my mum always comment that i'm a big child who dun seem to grow up...ahahaha...perhaps this will change once i step out into the working world?

the ironic thing is that although i act like a kid, i look older than a 22 year old ger...yeah...i'm more mature-looking than most of my friends....good or bad? both i suppose...

good in the sense that u'll look more dependable when u're out working....and perhaps no one will ever question me about watching a R21 show when i'm was only 18 (not that i tried doing that...haha)

bad? well...which ger is willing to accept comments abt her looking old? still remember there was this time when i took a cab back from Jurong Point after class...the cab driver asked if i'm the lecturer smth like this and said that he thought i was 28 years old!!! i almost fainted...as a matter of fact, i was in jeans and t-shirt with a backpack...do i really look that old? or perhaps it is him who need to change his glasses...ahahahah...

and at this new temp job, one of the project manager said that he thought i was 25 smth like this....at least this is better...not that bad...3 years more...

No doubt i always hear comments like "u 2 look like sisters!" when i go shopping with my mum...partly because she looks young and another reason is because i look mature....

So you can imagine how surprised i was in Australia some time ago buying cough syrup when a kind man was trying to explain to me the amt to be consumed and he suddenly asked this question "you're above 12 right?" i didn't quite know how to react...my friends were also stunned for a moment before bursting out into laughters....no one in singapore has ever questioned about me being younger than my actual age ..not as far as i remember....perhaps its because ang mohs tend to look more mature too? hahaha....

that's why ppl say never judge a book by its cover..i look mature doesn't mean i'm mature...
