"eh...move aside, u're blocking the AUNTIE!"

Thursday

Met up with GM and gang....but in the end Balaclava was fully booked and was very crowded also....so we decided to go to Marina Mandarin Hotel's lounge to chill out...no band there...just a simple 4-ppl group playing music for us using piano, violins and double bass...music was ok....not fantastic..... we took photos too! a pity JW wasn't there...wonder when was the last time all 6 of us took pic together.... GM hasn't send us the pics yet....so i'll post it up after i've got them kiez....=p

Friday

Met up with Michele....think most of u hasn't heard of this name before...haha....she's one of my volunteer friend from elders....one year my junior and future KPMG-ian.... we get along quite well....and we're quite alike in terms of thinking and ahem....the habit of falling down veri often....haha! met up with her at Kovan since both of us lives along the NEL.....we chit chat about a lot of things....about elders....and other gers tok...all the way from 730 till 12 plus...she got the last bus home! lucky her! no more last train for me and no bus from kovan...how? CAB lor....Auditors' favourite form of transport......=p got midnight surcharge *heart pain*

there're ppl who mention before that both of us look alike....do we??
this pic was taken during the last elders session before they break for exams....and she's wearing the newest elders t-shirt design....

Saturday

Skipped elders session today....initially wanted to go send GM off...but she insisted that we shldn't go send her for fear she might cry....so with no info at all, we decided we'll go pick her up when she come back for CNY next year....=p in the end met up with Elaine at ard 3 plus....went shop ard....and tried out the food at the Wisma Food Republic (hasn't eaten there since renovation).... realised that we hasn't meet up on a sat for quite a long time...always meet up with her after office hours....we passed by a cross-stitch shop in Far East Plaza...i've been wanting to find the kind of non-fabric kind of cross-stitch...those wooden like kind...and while i was describing to Elaine before we went into the shop, she went, "u mean those that kids do?" and started laughing!

yesyes...for big kids like Sunshine....

nothing wrong mah.....i just dun like the hassles of framing the fabric up after i've finished....those wooden kind are easier...u finished and can hang up already....so we went into the shop and i asked the lady if they sell the kind i wanted....and she went, "for kids??" Miss Laney's laugh cells was again triggered off and she starting laughing again!

Who says only kids can make those kind of cross-stitch?? humph!

that wasn't the end of it.....after dinner we were walking ard in Wisma...and while shopping ard this shop, i saw this brother and sister playing....the ger is prob 6-7 years old and the boy was about 9-10 years old....i happened to be standing behind the little ger and was trying to cross over the other side...the brother saw me and wanted to ask his sister to move aside for me to cross....at that veri moment, i thought the little boy was quite sensible as he wasn't too engross in playing that he dun bother with ppl ard him....

yeah right....till he says:

"eh...move aside, u're blocking the AUNTIE!"

AUNTIE??!! do i even look that old! arghh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sunday

Today nothing to do at home....slack and blog, slack and blog, thinking and complaining about the start of a new week....hm...perhaps i shld start planning my leave again...whahaha....

no la let me say something fair, kids these days are taught to address woman more senior than them as 'auntie'. I am not surprise if they address me as 'uncle'. Oh the other hand, the real aunties will always call us as 'ah girl' or 'ah boy', like the auntie at the canteen drink stall.

p.s. Notice, I did not use words like 'older' or 'more elder'. =p
