Fulfilling Gatherings

Friday

met up with WSC 9th comm on friday night for dinner and drinks....

we went to Ichiban Bosh @ Esplanade for dinner...it was great seeing them again...brought back all the nice memories working together and having fun together! the food was pretty good... the only not-so-good thing was that we haven to spilt into 2 tables because there was like 12 of us... as all the gers haven seen each other for so long, we simply plant ourselves at ONE table instead of splitting up.... haha...even MH, our boss can't do anything about us...haha...

after the dinner, the gers (5 of us) decided to go pamper ourselves with Haagen Daz ice-cream while the guys proceed to Axis Bar at Oriental Hotel! i had green tea flavour and it was fantastic! smooth and thick green tea taste...absolutely yummy!

when we reached Axis Bar, the guys had already decided on the sitting arrangement to stop the gers from sitting all together...hahaa....feels like SDU! but it was great.... i had a great time catching up with the rest of the comm ppl as well....=p

really looking forward to the next gathering!

Saturday

met up with KM and Laney in the afternoon to celebrate KM's birthday.... we had a great spanish lunch at Tapaz Tree at Clarke Quay...both KM and me had tried the food there before and we luv it! 2nd try at the food there was still good!

after that i went to join the elders volunteers at Marina South...we were going prawn fishing! played a round of bowling game with Weiting, Tanya and Kife before the main event of the day....now we know that Tanya is highly skilled! haha...

initially when i heard that we're going prawn fishing, i didn't think much of the outing...anyway, how fun can prawn fishing be?? waiting for the prawn to take the bait takes patience...but i was wrong! it was veri fun! didn't really have to wait veri long for the prawn to take the bait...but the trick was to wait long enuff for the prawn to get hooked! or else if u started pulling when the prawn was just eating and not hooked yet, all u get was a bait that get smaller and smaller...=p

i was in the same grp as peiqi and michele....the start wasn't easy because we simply can't get any prawns up... but once we got the first up, the 2nd, the 3rd just came one after another! haha....*thumbs up* in the end, our grp got a total of 6 prawns! hehehe...

i decided that next time i shall bring my dad & mum there...my dad will like it!
