Less-enthusiastic weekends

everyone look forward to weekends....me too....ever since when i started schooling, weekends are always the time of the week i look forward to...well...unless there's any exciting programme during the weekdays.....which is RARE!

ironically...now i dun really look forward to weekends as much as i do before.... i came to dislike going out on weekends....just feel like 'nuaing' (read: slacking) at home...and half the time i'm not really slacking...more of TRYING to read the backlog readings for the past week or rushing the readings for the next week....so that i'll understand what my AA306 tutor: the slow and unclear Peter Lee is trying to say....and also having smth to contribute in class to earn participation points....

SAT: either there's lessons or i'll meet my usual kakis for badminton session....or if there's nothing plan for the morning...i'll just sleep away the whole morning ....then in the afternoon i'll be away at AWWA for the weekly elders session....when evening comes, usually will be majong sessions or gathering sessions with my kakis again....or i'll just go home eat dinner, watch tv and do my readings...ahaha

SUN: will usually sleep till veri late...then wake up and start doing my readings in the afternoon...this will just keep me preoccupied for the whole day...even when there's opportunities for me to go out, for instance when my sis finally remembers me and asked me if i wanna go shopping, i'll also willingly chain myself to the house....

probably because weekends have become more or less routine for me in the past 2 years? issit true that when something has become routine in ur life that u look forward less to it??

or probably because during the weekdays i have enough of travelling to and fro ntu that i just wanna stay at home during the weekends and not travel anymore? ahaha.....

or perhaps i'm just trying to find some time to be anti-social....away from the crowd, away from friends and people i know...and just to have a moment to myself??

so what will happen the next time when i work? as an auditor i doubt there's any social life during the weekdays....weekends will probably become the only exciting time of the week.... will i still prefer to nua at home? or will i start looking forward to weekends as much as before?

Ever since u had this blog...u start thinking very philosophically huh?..Haha..Weekends are supposed to be for clearing up work and then doing the things you want to do (including just lazing around at home)..nothing wrong with that..doesn't make u any less happening la Haha..can try renting vcds to watch...one of my favourite ways to while the day away. As for the weekdays, u can look forward to Wed dinners..Muahahahah..That will be something exciting!! Or like go swimming?? Hee hee..refreshing man!
