Collection of my convo gown!
dun worry people....u didn't miss the deadline for the collection of the convo gown...i was early...this morning a couple of friends came my place for mahjong session...and since the serangoon broadway is near my hse and happen that the lady called us yesterday (we make an appointment to try the gown), we went down together to try and collect the gown....
tried on the gown and it looks funny at first look....looks too big for me...then i realised that it IS suppose to be like this...not only me but my friends too! ahaha...and the mortarboard looks weird on the head! ahahah... luv the colour of the hood...orange...it seems to complement veri well with the blue gown...=p
anyway i took some pic of my convo gown...so u all can take a look...hehe...
here's my convo gown! a lot of creases coz haven iron yet....ahahaa
here's my mortarboard! its look so weird when i wear it on my head! ahahah
other than trying the gown, the person also tried to sell their photo-taking packages....hm...but i find the prices a bit too steep....the smallest size 8R costs 100+ with frame and canvas finish...the bigger sizes a few hundreds....anyone know the market rate?

haha...i knew u ppl will ask that...u know why? coz i wanna make sure that the gown is nice and tidy when i take it....and for now, the gown is not iron yet....plus i'm not really sure how to put the hood thing nicely...haha...so i'll take photos next time....of me in the gown...haha

then as for the size rite, its not like the normal size...it depends on ur shoulder width actually... like for me, i measured and thot i was L but when i went there to try, the person gave me M and its ok...got other friends who supposedly smaller in size took M too...so the best thing is to go try out ba...i think for u u can take M coz u're tall.....
so u coming back for convo?? =p
yah lor...i agree also...waited3 years just for this...ahahaha...
u try to ask ur boss lah...get a coupleof days leave....tell them tt u really wanna attend convo...they wouldn't be so jue qing one ba....
