Suntanning Day -----> Phototaking Day

After a month of hectic studying for exams...i finally got a chance to go beach to enjoy! today suppose to go with driz to pasir ris beach to sun tan....woke up in the morning to prepare egg sandwiches to make it a suntanning cum pinic session...haha...budden turns out that 天不作美....10 mins after we arrived the beach and found a good spot to sit down, the sky was overcast and there was even thunder....sigh...

we tried to ignore the warning and continue to enjoy the sandwiches....in the end? immediately after we finished the sandwiches the rain started pouring down! sheez....luckily our spot was near the toilet....so we spent like 1 hour in the toilet, waiting for the rain to stop....ahaha

after the rain stopped, we thought like "great! 雨过天晴.....can resume our activity!" but the rain has caused to the sky to become cloudy and there isn't much sunlight at all....toking about sun tanning??!! ahahah....

smart driz brought camera! so in the end we spent a couple of hours taking photos on the beach and sitting down to enjoy the sea breeze....it was actually veri fun!!! the beach was not crowded, the sea breeze blowing gently, and the air feels fresh after the rain....the whole feeling is just so refreshing and relaxing.....hhmm....

other than this we encountered a couple of weird things during the few hours there...haha...

1) after the rain, we realised that the tide suddenly retreat so far out from the original shore line! the sea suddenly seem so far away and the beach extended SSSSOOO far out! unlike the normal low tide situation.... the first thing that came to our mind was "tsunami warning sign?" not surprising since both of us were geography students in JC.... ok...this may sound silly....but i'm sure those who read the news would know that this young ger actually saved the lives of many coz her geography tutor told her before that the sudden retreat of the tide and shoreline may be an indication of the coming tsunami! so for the next couple of mins we were like deciding whether we shld continue to stay on...ahaha....but eventually we did...and all the way till we left, the tide was still at that level....

2) after we finally settle down, waiting for the cloudy sky to clear (which it didn't), we heard strange things....heard clapping sounds...ok...this is going to be eerie...but its true...there was this sound which sounds like someone clapping every 5-10 secs...the thing is that it sounded very near us, like just behind us but there wasn't even a single soul behind us! so in the end i decided to investigate...i stood up and started walking towards the back....and i realised that the sound came from a tree behind us....a tree...not bushes kiez...no one can hide there.....so i was like wat exactly is causing the sound?? i have no answer coz i dun have the courage to go too near the tree to find out....my conclusion is that scientifically speaking, it may be the sound of some plant seeds rupturing or what...i have no idea...of course...the non-scientifically explanation will be u-know-what....budden its 大白天! so....hm....

nevertheless, though we didn't manage to sun tan today, we still had so much fun!!! we even drew pics on the sand! here's a couple of pic:
